Insect Hotel
This editorial-style illustration visualises a cross-section of an insect hotel—a man-made structure designed to provide shelter for beneficial insects. The detailed compartments are made of natural materials like logs, bamboo, bricks, and leaves, each tailored to attract specific species such as bees, ladybirds, lacewings, and beetles.
The layout is both educational and decorative, with callouts identifying the types of insects each section supports. This project highlights the importance of biodiversity and how simple structures can support ecosystems in urban or garden environments. It was created as part of a personal exploration into nature-focused design and aims to blend visual clarity with ecological awareness.
